Hey Gang!!!

It been a long time again. I've been busy, putting in more work for my website. Also, keeping my connects on the loop. I will give you update on my latest work in the fall. Plus, I would like to make a public service announcement. I am going back to "ArtBazzar" group show @ Lyons Wier Gallery [175 7th ave. (@ 20th Street) NYC] on November 7th-8th. A Tiny Revamp

I just remastered my website. Putting in the size & medium in all of my work in the traditional section. Oh yeah, the two works that were sold at the group show were "Thank Us" and "I Love Hip-Hop 1985". If you're interested in buying my work, feel free to email me at Bernill.com. Gallery Roundup

Well the show was a huge surprise for me. I was getting a lot of buzz, met a lot of great people, and out the last three weekends at the show, I sold two works. I will give more info about that, on my next post. Here my update on my current work. I really had a hard time at first. Trying to place dove in this piece. I notice that the third dove on the right, is a little to big. I thinking of downsizing it. Join me next time when, I revamp my website and tell you which works were sold.

I Had A Show.....But I'll Be Back

Last week I had a show at the Lyons Wier Gallery in New York. The show is called "Art Bazaar". It held every weekend, and I was fortunate to be part. Here is the catch. There was huge line in front of the gallery. The first 18 people out that huge line, get to post their work in that gallery. I was the tenth person out of the 18. I get there on Saturday at 5:45 am. Even through the show starts at noon. Talk about grueling. Other than that, the show was pretty good. I got to communicate with other artist, learn ropes about the gallery field, and the most important thing, I get to put one knoch under my belt. I'll do this again, two weeks from now. It's getting more competitive than ever (getting in line that is). Hope to see you soon. When mean I hope, I mean it.

A featured trailer

I'll give you some clues. His change his jersey number 8 to 24, he just won a another NBA title ( more likely to a another one after adding Ron Artest), and more likely to be a Laker for life. As a Knick fan, we have a better chance to get Lebron James than him.

Lil' Jon Henry Part 2

Here what I have done so far. I started painting the whole background. Then the cracks of the wall and the sledgehammer. I didn't like lips that i did. So I just put white ink over it. I'll figure that out later. Stay tuned for part 3 of "Lil Jon Henry".

It has a long time coming (O.K. 2 months)!!

Hey gang sorry for the delay. I just did two new illustrations. It should be posted on my website, so check it out. Without further adieu, I will show you how I produce my work. Now here's the first of my process. In this piece in titled "lIl Jon Henry", this is done on pen and ink on bristol paper on top of Masonite board. I just recently it spray over with crystal clear spray and glaze it with gloss medium. Stay tuned to see another procedure to this illustration.
